Little Water Cantina is a locally owned, scratch Mexican restaurant in Eastlake, Seattle, that is frequently cited as “Best Mexican” and “Best Outdoor Dining,” and has been featured on the Food Network and the Travel Channel since opening in 2011. Our food and drinks are based on fundamental Mexican ingredients and techniques, but we like to take chances and have fun so you’ll see some original riffs on classics!
Please note that we employ a unique hybrid service model we like to call “Cantina Service”: We will help you get situated at your table, then you order and pay using a QR code via your smart device. We will make everything and bring it out to you! Need a tequila recommendation? Just ask!

Parking is usually available on Eastlake Ave. E. Just mind the parking signs. We also have free parking in our underground garage. The entrance to the garage is accessible from Eastlake Ave. E. on the north side of the building. (Do not drive beyond the second gate into building’s resident parking or you will get locked in!) A dedicated elevator will take you to street level and Little Water’s front door…
NO RESERVATIONS. First come, first served. No exceptions. The only reservations we accept are for private events in the patio bar and lounge.

Large groups of up to 30 people can reserve our private patio bar or lounge! You can pre-order massive platters of guacamole, salsa, ceviche and tacos, all served by your own bartender. Please note that there will be an hourly food & beverage minimum. Our heated and covered patio is now open!

Little Water Cantina is a family-run Pacific Northwestern Mexican restaurant founded in 2011. We utilize many local ingredients in combination with Mexican produce to create an innovative cuisine that is both regional and exotic (Menu).
We have an awesome patio that can now be enclosed and heated for fiestas all year long! We also have a cozy lounge complete with a fireplace, TV and a glowing wall of nearly 800 recycled tequila bottles. It’s a great spot to have a party with 30 of your closest friends! Or have a seat at our 24-foot bar top made of two bookended slabs of madrone, above which hang antique gramophone horns turned into lights.
Little Water Cantina opened on May 5th, 2011 as the first LEED CI Platinum Candidate restaurant project in Washington State. LWC strives to provide a festive, delicious environment in which to pass a few hours with friends and family, and we’re committed to doing so responsibly. We serve local & organic food when feasible and utilize only environmentally friendly cleaning products.
